Founded in 2005,
SMART is a full-service marketing firm committed to
providing superior marketing and public relations services to small-
and mid-sized arts organizations.
SMART’s infrastructure
is designed to provide fast and effective marketing solutions with a
minimum of bureaucratic entanglement or overhead.
SMART’s
founder and principal Patricia Nicholson, a 25-year veteran of
not-for-profit arts marketing, serves as project leader.
Guided by the parameters and goals of the project, she assembles a
team of trusted professionals who have expertise in the necessary
fields (e.g., graphic design, website development, group sales,
etc.). The team then designs and implements an appropriate marketing
strategy. Since the summer of 2005, SMART has also operated
SMART
TeleServices, providing high-quality, customer service-oriented
telemarketing and telefunding solutions to not-for-profit clients.
SMART
takes great pride in the breadth and depth of experience it brings
to each project, and is committed to providing each client with a
custom strategy designed to enhance the client’s unique position in
